The process of distributing the financial grant of Prime Minister Masrour Barzani to the survivors from the ISIS captivity will continue, and the registration of the grant data has started today.
Today, Thursday, August 08, 2024, Iman Murad, the Director of the Financial Grant Project, announced that in the last four days, the distribution of the honorable Prime Minister Masrour Barzani’s grant to the survivors from ISIS captivity in the areas of Sharia, Khanke, Shekhan and Derebun has begun.
Iman also said: Within the project framework, the registration of Prime Minister Masrour Barzani’s grant data has started today and will continue for several days.
The Director of the Financial Grant Project also emphasized that the process of distributing the grant to the survivors at the Lalish base in Duhok will continue until all survivors of both genders receive it.
On 2/7/2024, the project of financial support for the Yazidi survivors from ISIS was announced by the Honorable Prime Minister Masrour Barzani, the President of the Kurdistan Regional Government.
Within this project, 3,575 survivors, including girls, women, men, and children, will receive the financial grant and benefit from it.
Saeed Jardo, the Head of the Lalish Center, announced that this project has become a source of joy for the Yazidi community, because whatever is done for the Yazidi survivors is a source of happiness for the people, and in light of the improving financial situation of the Kurdistan Region, this financial grant will be better and will serve the survivors more.
The families of the survivors also express their gratitude to the Kurdistan Regional Government and consider this project important for supporting the survivors, which will be an important step towards improving their living conditions.
Also, with the support of the President of the Kurdistan Regional Government, the project of resuming education for the survivors has been announced, and now all Yazidi survivors can continue their education.
