KDP Reiterates Core Values on 79th Anniversary

Marking its 79th anniversary, the KDP Political Bureau reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to the enduring Barzani doctrine, pledging to defend the Kurdish people’s rights, safeguard constitutional gains, and protect Kurdistan’s legitimate institutions.

The statement urged the resolution of disputes between Erbil and Baghdad through dialogue, stressing the importance of holding free and transparent Iraqi elections on November 11, 2025, and reaffirming the principles of partnership, balance, and consensus within a federal Iraq.

Reflecting on its historic role from the September Revolution to the March 1991 Uprising, the party reiterated its dedication to Kurdistani identity, democracy, and peaceful coexistence among the region’s diverse communities.
