On Tuesday, August 19, 2025, His Highness Prince Hazim Tahseen Said — Prince of the Ezidis in Iraq and around the world, and President of the Ezidi Supreme Spiritual Council — received Sheikh Sattar Jabbar Helo Al-Zuhairi, Head of the Mandaean Sabian religion in Iraq and worldwide, at the Prince’s Palace in Sheikhan.
After warmly welcoming Sheikh Sattar Jabbar Helo and the accompanying delegation, His Highness spoke about the many commonalities shared among religions, emphasizing that all religious messages call for love, brotherhood, and peaceful coexistence.
He stressed that it is the duty of religious leaders to reject hate speech and to refrain from using religious platforms to promote such rhetoric.
His Highness also expressed his deep appreciation for the positions taken by Sheikh Sattar Jabbar Helo and all members of the Mandaean Sabian community in supporting the causes of minorities, especially the Ezidis, and for their efforts in raising awareness about the Ezidi cause and the genocide they have endured.
