On Sunday, 7 September 2025, financial aid was distributed by the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, to approximately 1,000 students from Sinjar.
Maysar Haji Saleh, Director of Sinjar Education for Kurdish Studies, said: “In support of the sixth-grade students of Kurdish studies, who are taking their exams in Duhok Governorate, financial aid from the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government is being distributed to Sinjar students. A total of 113,020,000 Iraqi dinars has been distributed among them.”
He added: “This financial aid for the 2024–2025 academic year has been provided to sixth-grade students.”
He also confirmed: “The ninth cabinet of the Kurdistan Regional Government continues its support for all groups, including Sinjar students and Sinjar Education for Kurdish Studies.”
