On Saturday, November 8, 2025, an Ezidi individual was honored in Germany for their charitable and humanitarian work.
According to a statement released by the House of Ezidis in Oldenburg, among 60 volunteers from the federal state of Lower Saxony, Elias Yanj, the head of the House of Ezidis in Oldenburg and an Ezidi figure, was recognized and awarded for his outstanding humanitarian efforts.
Olaf Lies, the Prime Minister of the federal state of Lower Saxony, reaffirmed his support for the House of Ezidis and pledged to continue cooperation during the construction of the new Ezidi community center.
The head of the House of Ezidis expressed his gratitude to the government for this recognition and appreciation.
The House of Ezidis in Oldenburg continues to carry out various community services for the Ezidi population in the region.
