According to the Syrian Presidency, the conversation addressed the repercussions of the current situation on regional security and stability. Both sides stressed the importance of strengthening coordination and cooperation among all parties to help contain crises through dialogue and peaceful means.
The statement added that President Barzani and al-Sharaa underscored the need to intensify joint efforts to resolve regional crises, warning of the risks posed by continued escalation and its consequences for countries in the region. They also emphasized the importance of sparing the peoples of the region from the impacts of conflicts, while working to reinforce stability and enhance political communication channels.
