The Ezidi Prince congratulates the winners on their election to the Oldenburg City Council in Germany.
His Highness Prince Hazim Tahseen Saeed, Prince of the Ezidis in Iraq and the World and President of the Supreme Spiritual Council of the Ezidis, extended his warmest congratulations to the Ezidi candidates elected to seats on the Oldenburg City Council in Germany.
He said the victory demonstrates that the Ezidi community has qualified and capable individuals who can attain high positions when given the appropriate opportunities, and who can contribute to serving the countries that have provided them with an environment of freedom and democracy. He noted that the achievement also reflects the Ezidi community’s active role and its ability to integrate into modern and developed societies, describing this as another achievement for the Ezidi community. The Ezidi Prince expressed hope that this victory will pave the way for greater political, civil, and legal rights for Ezidis, and serve as a basis of trust for granting humanitarian asylum to other Ezidis and protecting them from deportation, allowing European countries and other host countries to benefit from the skills and expertise of the Ezidi community.
