The Lalish Cultural and Social Center in Duhok has congratulated the Ezidi candidates who won seats in municipal council elections in Germany, emphasizing the importance of working to defend the rights of the Ezidi community.
In its message, the Lalish Center in Duhok extended its warmest congratulations to the winners and to Ezidis at home and abroad.

On the occasion of the historic and significant victory of the Ezidi candidates in Germany’s municipal council elections, we extend our warmest congratulations and best wishes to the winners and to all members of the Ezidi community at home and abroad.
Your success in municipal elections across different German cities, receiving a high share of the vote and securing seats on your local councils, is a source of pride for all of us. This victory is clear evidence of the ability and competence of young Ezidis living abroad, as well as their capacity to make a significant contribution to administrative and political life in European countries while serving their community.
The presence of young Ezidi women and men from the new generation in institutions, municipalities, and political parties in Germany and across Europe represents a successful step and a new stage toward a promising future.
We hope that the elected candidates, alongside their administrative responsibilities and service to German society, will continue to keep the just cause and political, civil, and legal rights of the Ezidi community at the forefront of their work, serving as a bridge between Germany and Europe and as a voice for the Ezidis.
We also hope that this achievement will encourage greater use of the expertise and capabilities of our academic and young cadres.
