On the occasion of Ezidi New Year, I extend my warmest congratulations to all Ezidi brothers and sisters in Kurdistan and around the world, wishing them joy and tranquility.
On this blessed occasion, I express my hope that the suffering caused by years of displacement and homelessness will come to an end, and that our Yazidi brothers and sisters will be freed from the grip of terrorism and from those who wish harm upon our people. I hope the Yazidis will achieve freedom and independence in their land and homeland.
To achieve this, it is essential for everyone to work together to empower the Yazidis to determine their own future, safeguard their rights, culture, and beliefs, and to heal their wounds.
I hope that all upcoming holidays and occasions are filled with joy and peace. May the new year bring goodness and blessings, and may everyone remain safe and happy.
