The Prince of the Ezidis in Iraq and around the world, Prince Hazim Tahsin Beg, accompanied by his wife and a delegation of advisers from the Supreme Ezidi Spiritual Council, visited Mam Rashan Camp located in the Mahad Complex in the Sheikhan district to closely assess the conditions of Ezidi refugees from Syria’s Afrin region.
The camp currently hosts 55 Ezidi refugee families who were displaced from Afrin and continue to face humanitarian and living challenges.
The visit was also attended by representatives of the Barzani Charity Foundation, which has maintained extensive humanitarian efforts in supporting displaced people and refugees over the years.
During the visit, Prince Hazim Tahsin Beg provided financial assistance to the Syrian Ezidi families as part of ongoing initiatives aimed at helping meet their essential living needs and supporting their daily livelihoods.
The visit reflects continuing efforts by Ezidi religious leadership and humanitarian organizations to provide assistance and maintain support for displaced and refugee communities.
